This is a course with a difference! It is run in a modern machine shop, co-hosted by two experienced Instructors, one our automation.ie Instructor with 35+ years experience in the many facets of Mechanical Engineering, the other, a Toolmaker who heads up a modern tool room facility manufacturing parts and products to a worldwide market.
Emphasis of this course is put on cost savings whilst carrying out mechanical repairs by imparting an appreciation to the participants on using the correct tools on sensitive and costly mechanical equipment, develop an attitude for doing the job right the first time, give an understanding of the many areas in Mechanical Systems found in modern factories and to have participants leave with a more considered outlook when interacting with Mechanical Systems & Tools. Maximum class size is 8.
24 hours (Three 8 hour days)
A keen aptitude for all things Mechanical and a willingness to realise the importance of applying appropriate techniques whilst interacting with Mechanical Systems & Tools, coupled with a genuine willingness to learn!
